Dear delegates, New and old friends,

Good afternoon! On the basis of consultation agreeably reached by three port associations, China Ports & Harbours Association takes responsibility for preparation of the 4th President's Meeting of Port & Harbor Associations in Northeast Asia. Thanks to the efforts by all of us, today we hold the Meeting here in city of Yantai. On behalf of China Ports & Harbours Association I'd like to extend warm welcome to all guests from Japan Port & Harbor Association and Korea Port & Harbor Association.

First of all, I propose that three presidents of Associations have introduction to their own delegates attending the today's Meeting. Firstly I invite Mr. Lu Haihu, Director-General of China Ports & Harbours Association to introduce the delegates from Chinese side.

Now Mr. Kiyoyasu Mikanagi, president of Japan Port & Harbor Association introduces the delegates from Japan to attend the Meeting.

And finally, I invite Mr. Hwang Ho-Young, president of Korea Port & Harbor Association to introduce his delegates.

All delegates, the topic of this Meeting is "Activities and study subjects that 3 PHAs have to pursue jointly for the development and prosperity of port industry of Northeast Asia". Notwithstanding port system and marketplace environment of three port associations are noticeably different of three countries, and also different organizational structure and roles of three associations, however we have common target that is to promote mutual prosperity of port industry in Northeast Asia; Whole-heartedly serving ports of its own country and members as well is duty-bound responsibility of our three port associations. There are numerous works in which three port associations could exchange and refer each other. I am confident that today's Meeting will get an active result.

Thank you everybody again for presence.

Now we invite Mr. Lu Haihu, Director-General of China Ports and Harbours Association to give an opening speech.
