The 7th ASEAN Ports Forum will be held in Miyazaki, Japan, 7 to 10 November 2006, hosted by the IAPH (International Association of Ports & Harbors), under the theme of "Port's Role in Local Economic Development". At the same time, the 5th Director-General Conference to be held. After the meeting the Directors will visit the other ports of Japan. The delegation of China's coastal port industries and the Yangtze River`s middle and lower reaches port enterprises, led by China Ports & Harbors
