At present, DPCM has four berths in operation and another two in the future plan. With the depth of 18 m alongside the wharf, the terminal can accommodate container vessels of 12,000 TEU. The major business of the DDCT.CS is domestic container transportation and it mainly undertakes the transportation between Dalian, Huangpu and Shanghai to form the Pearl River Delta, Yangtze River Delta and Bohai Rim into a transportation network.
Meanwhile, the Third Phase construction of Dayao Bay has already begun . When it is completed, the PDA will have an added capacity of 4 million TEU per year.
Passenger/Cargo Ro-Ro Terminals: Dalian Port Passenger Transport Corporation now undertakes the fourth-generation passenger/cargo Ro-Ro transportation. It owns 14 specialized passenger/cargo Ro-Ro berths and 16 vessels of various types, such as high-speed craft, conventional vessels, passenger vessels, and Ro-Ro vessels.
